Happy holidays! [2005-12-23]
I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a
Happy New Year from the dark and cold north! At least we have a little
snow to lighten things up...

Ed's in the studio... and possible
tour [2005-12-21]
Currently Ed is in the studio, writing and recording what will be his
next studio album. No release dates set as yet. There are also plans
of touring Australia during the early part of 2006, with possible shows
in Germany (Europe, hurrah!) in the middle of the year.
New retrospective album released [2005-12-15]

Ed live in Brisbane in December [2005-10-24]
Ed will play a show at the 4ZZZ Market Day concert on the 17th December.
Apparently it has been advertised as The Laughing Clowns, but this
is not the case. Ed will play with Jeff and Jane Elliott. There will
also be shows in Sydney and Melbourne in January.

The waiting is the hardest part [2005-09-02]
According to Milton Fernandez in Sydney (Thanks Milton!), Red Eye Records
has set a release date for the Clowns box, 10 Oct 2005. I've heard
nothing from Ed's management that either confirms or denies this. They
say, however, that they wait for the advance press and radio attention,
to let people know the album is coming out.
...and on bass, Mr Oxley! [2005-08-31]
Peter Oxley (more info on him, anyone?) joined Ed and Jeff on several
gigs. Hopefully I will be able to have pictures from the gig at the
Vanguard (Newtown, Sydney, 26 July) soon.
Clowns comp is close - and press release [2005-08-19]
Boy have we waited for this! The Clowns comp is fresh out from the factory
and will hit the stores very shortly! The cover art has been slightly
altered, picture up soon on the album
page. Also I've put up the press
release for the compilation.
New track listing on the forthcoming
DVD release [2005-08-19]
The DVD is going to be called The
Man The Music The Magic, and will be released in September 2005.
The tracklist has been expanded from the previous VHS release.
I'm back and so are you... [2005-08-18]
Hi all! Glad to be back. There's a bunch of news for you, and I'm updating
the site as fast as I can. First of all, there's a lot of new pictures
from different live gigs. Several good people, including Tim and Andrew
(among others) have sent me pics of Ed and Jeff playing. Take a look
in the pictures section!
Also (and this is really good!) - news about the upcoming
releases... The Clowns
compilation is ready for release! It is in production, (whatever
that means ;-) and I will keep you posted as much as I can. The DVD is
going to be released at the end of September and The
Magic Mile is scheduled for an October release. And -- very possibly
-- you will be able to order signed copies of the Clowns compilation through
this website! Exactly how this is going to work, I'm not sure yet, but
I am discussing it with Didgeridoo! :-)
And also, both compilations is in digipack packaging, with
extensive booklets with photos and new liner notes by Ed. And Jeffrey
too! There's also a new track listing for the DVD... more on this soon!
I believe we have some great months ahead of us, friends!

Latest news on the box sets! Laughing Clowns' Cruel
But Fair for August release, DVD release of Kuepper
Klips (hopefully with some new rare live footage!) in September and This
Is The Magic Mile (solo box set) to follow in October. That's the
plan!
Personally I will be taking some holiday soon, from mid-July
and a couple of weeks into August. I will read and answer mail occasionally.
Check the messageboard for
news, rumours and friends! Hopefully we will have seen the release of
the Clowns box before I return! :-) Take care out there... and catch
so many Ed gigs you
possibly can!

Clearly I don't use Windows often enough. Apparently there's a problem
with the look on some of the pages if you look at them in Explorer on
Windows XP (and probably other Win flavors as well). Some items (typically
headers, apparently) get aligned wrong, and it looks awful. But I'm working
on it...

Ed and Jeffrey live in Brisbane throughout
April [2005-02-22]
(Apologies to all! I thought I'd mentioned this already, but apparently
not... Sorry.)
Ed and Jeffrey are playing live at The Troubador in Brisbane every Wednesday
night throughout April, "basically having fun before the proper
band tour later this year...". There's a good chance of guest stars
and all. Sounds promising! :-)

New solo box release! [2005-01-28]
Yes, the Clowns box is now definitlely ready for release. But not only
that: there will also be a 3CD retrospective compilation of Ed's solo
work, most likely to be entitled The
Magic Mile. It is scheduled for release in the near future,
maybe even along with the Clowns box.
